Hello, my name is Krista – awesome wife (in my husband's words), my boy's most favourite mom ever, autism advocate, and owner/operator of Sassy Threads.

Sassy Threads was born out of a love for creating custom sensory items – from weighted vests and hooded sweaters to blankets and lap pads – all designed to assist those who are calmed by deep pressure stimulus, including those on the Autism spectrum.

Unlike traditional therapeutic items that tend to be drab and unflattering, our clothing is stylish and looks “normal” so that those who suffer from social anxiety or are neuro typical aren’t forced to stand out because of what they wear.

Non-clothing items can be customized with different colors, fabrics, and weights – just ask us for details.
